We see many ECU's programmed with Tuner Locks. In simple terms the Tuning company or remote tuning tool that programmed the ECU has coded in a lock that prevents all other OBD tools from reading and writing to (programming) the ECU. In most instances this has been done without the owner being aware and with a change of ownership and or further tuning required this can be frustrating.
This service resets the ECU back to standard factory software, allowing further reading and writing via the OBD port.
