An excellent edition for Megane Sport owners; this direct replacement has an improved flow rate to 320 - 340BHP. Due to this turbo's increased airflow extra power can made with this unit without a boost increase. However even further gains are achieved alongside supporting mods i.e. uprated intercoolers, decats and ECU remaps to suit.
Developed on the Road, Track and Dyno, this unit will almost spin up as fast as the STD standard turbo, but keep breathing when the original unit runs out of puff.
The turbo features a brand new turbo CHRA (Central Housing Rotating Assembly) with uprated thrust bearing, shaft and bearings with a much Larger high flow Billet compressor wheel and CNC matched housing. The Inlet track or turbo is also reshaped to create a "Venturi" effect to speed up air velocity before entering the turbo.
The advantage of the billet compressor allows lighter re-profiled blades to further increase air flow at higher RPM

The Level 1 turbo is provided without exhaust housing due to the external measurements of the turbine blades being unchanged (Hot side). This allows an easier install to the vehicle as the original exhaust housing can be left in situe. Its a simple v-band fitment to remove the old assembly and swop over to the new unit.
