Every SACHS performance clutch is a product of their concentrated expertise obtained from many years of working in the motorsports industry. Their extensive expertise gained on the toughest race tracks in the world has been directly applied to the development of the SACHS Performance clutches
There are 2 options to choose from.
Organic Disc - This clutch is designed for fast road / track day use and has a transmittable torque capacity of 258 ft lbs (350nm). Suitable for forced induction engines when capping mid range torque.
Paddle Disc - This 4 puck paddle disc is aimed at more aggressive use and can also increase the torque capacity over the organic version by 10 - 15%. Sintered metal paddle discs tend to be a lot sharper on uptake, i.e. giving that "on / off" clutch bite.
Both options are full 3 piece kit supplied including the release bearing.
Q) What power (BHP) are these clutches rated to?
A) We would recommend the torque is capped to around 250 ft lbs using the organic disc, this would translate to around 300 - 310 BHP at 6500rpm. The paddle disc option would handle around 280 ft lbs which equates to circa 350 BHP at 6500rpm.
Q) Do these fit with the standard flywheel?
A) Yes, they are a designed to fit the standard flywheel or the lightened flywheel we offer.
