Fitting a lower temperature thermostat allows the engine coolant to circulate sooner through the cooling system helping to keep temperatures lower. The vehicles engine ECU makes adaptions to fuelling and ignition at higher water temps to reduce power and keep the engine safe. By having a slightly lower constant temperature keeps settings more optimal for maximum performance. Also ideal for overseas owners living in hotter climates.
This is a direct replacement for the standard 82 - 89 degree item (depending on your model) and includes a new rubber sealing ring gasket. You will be provided with 75 Degree Centigrade low temp thermostat.
** Never run a vehicle without a thermostat as this can cause hot spots inside the engine **
