Level 2 Performance Package for your Clio Sport 197 / 200.
This package is aimed at those that have carried out the usual intake and exhaust modifications. We would also recommend a performance exhaust manifold that removes the restrictive pre-cat alongside a sports cat or decat pipe.
We go inside the engine and fit a set of Piper Performance Camshafts. Top end power is further improved due to the extra lift and duration of valve opening and an ECU calibration is carried out to optimize settings and bring it all together.
Our Level 2 package consists of:-
- Pre-diagnostic and dyno session
- Pipercams Camshaft Set
- Cam End Blanks and Oil Seals
- Full Timing Belt Kit
- Oil Filter & Sump Washer
- Synthetic Engine Oil
- Custom ECU Calibration to suit
- Before & After Dyno Print Out
Please see our "Engine Components" section for details on the camshafts. Other camshaft profiles are available on request, but the used are optimal with bolt on modifications and standard ECU tuning.
Improvements of around 10 - 20 BHP have been seen on such conversions, alongside a much needed increased torque curve across the rev range. Ultimately the gains produced would reflect on the other supporting modifications fitted and general health of the engine, but we have seen 215 - 220 BHP.

Q) Do you still offer the Catcams Camshafts?
A) We have worked with Piper Cams to further improve performance and ease of fitment over the 403 Catcams, hence we now use those in the package.
Q) Are there any further modifications required to get good performance gains.?
A) As mentioned above we recommend a good Induction kit or air filter over the OEM Air Box, this needs to be coupled with a Performance Exhaust / Manifold to make the most from the camshaft fitment and tuning. More importantly the engine needs to be in a good bill of health and we would STRONGLY advise an engine compression check or ideally a leak down test before booking the car in with us. Even just a few percent leakage can dent the peak power achieved!
