The best way to put the standard factory intercooler into perspective is to say that its 'Barely good enough'! Therefore any increase in boost / performance is pushing the factory intercooler outside of its comfort zone.
To combat this we have teamed up with Airtec during the development of our 275 conversion to produce an intercooler kit that makes improvements not only on the standard car, but is future proof for those carrying out upgrades overtime.
As you would expect from a good aftermarket kit, it has excellent cooling capacity and low pressure drop., but unlike others the intercooler is also fitted with a shroud to direct air through the cars radiator. This channeled air flow not only prevents reversion behind the intercooler, but aids the cooling system to help keep engine temperatures under control during hard use.
The Intercooler and hard pipes are supplied in a Black finish with black silicone hoses.
