A common fault with the F4R is the 2 Piece valves that can break on the high performance engines. This inturn makes a mess of the engine and usually results in a scrap cylinder head and piston.
Each kit includes 8 Exhaust valves and 8 Inlet valves. The inlet valves are Forged 1pc steel construction and the Exhaust valves are Inconel which are suited to both NA or High Temp Forced Induction engines.
**Please note these valves feature an altered collet height to help prevent the retainer bottoming out on higher lift cams. Due to this it is always recommended to use an uprated valve spring set. Either the Catcams or Supertech sets are suitable, but please feel free to contact us if advice is needed.**
Want a big valve head? We offer an oversized valve set (+ 1.50mm Inlet and +1.00mm Exhaust). Select the oversize option before adding to the basket. Please note that additional valve seat replacement / work is required if fitting oversize valves.
