Crankshaft Toothed Bottom Pulley with Integrated Key, recommended for use with Superchargers, High Boost or Higher Engine Speeds (RPM). In fact its a worth while upgrade to any spec. engine if carrying out a timing belt change or similar.
This pulley features an integrated locking key that directly fits onto the Clio crankshaft to prevent slippage (no modification required). The original pulley relies only on bolt torque to retain its position and have known to slip on engines that are Supercharged, or use a higher boost turbo setup.. We would also recommend these pulleys if the vehicle is subject to higher engines speeds above 7500rpm.
No modification is needed to fit as there is a keyway in the Clio Crankshaft. These pulleys are factory fitted to the Megane 225 / 230 / 250 / 265 and Clio 197 / 200 as standard.
